Our 2023 Activities

Here at Russell Brook Campsites, we have a fantastic selection of weekly activities – there’s something for everyone! Check the schedule for full details, changes or cancellations. Some events may be postponed or cancelled due to undesirable weather.

Memorial Day Weekend

Saturday, May 27th

3:00 PM: Family Fishing Derby. Meet at the camp ponds.

Sunday, May 28th

2:00 PM: Hayride. Meet by the playground. 3:00 PM Scavenger Hunt. Meet at the camp store.

Saturday, June 10th

11:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Annual Livingston Manor Trout Parade. Food, music, vendors. Only 10 minutes from camp.

Saturday, June 17th

9:30 AM: Cookies for breakfast and cartoons. Meet in the rec hall. Feel free to wear your PJ’s.

Saturday, June 24th

4:00 PM: Candy Bingo. Meet at the rec hall. Bring a full-size candy to play.

Annual East Branch Fireman’s Field Days

Friday, June 30th and Saturday, July 1st

Music, games, food, and free fireworks. Only a short drive from the campground. Stop in camp store for easy directions.

Saturday, July 1st

2:00 PM: Family Fishing Derby. Meet at the ponds. Trophy Prizes. 3:00 PM: Penny Dive. Meet at the pool.

Sunday, July 2nd

12:00 - 4:00 PM: Craft Fair. Meet at the playground. Vendors wanted. 3:00 PM: Cannon Ball Contest. Meet at the pool.

Downsville Fireman’s Field Days

Friday July, 7th and Saturday, July 8th

10:00 AM - Midnight: Games, food, music, vendors, fireworks, and demolition derbies on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday, July 15th

4:00 PM: Frog Derby. Trophy prizes. 8:30 PM Music by BJ and a campfire.

Saturday, July 22nd

3:00 PM: Scavenger hunt. Meet at the camp store. 7:00 PM: Family Bingo in the rec hall.

Saturday, July 29th

3:00 PM: Make your own ice cream sundae ($1.00). Meet in the rec hall.

Saturday, August 5th

3:00 PM: Pirate Gold Rush game, candy prizes. Meet at the playground. 8:00 PM: Campfire and music by Ronnie.

Annual Corn and Keg Party

Saturday, August 12th

1:00 PM: Corn husking. 3:00 PM: Corn & Keg. Iced tea for the kids. $1.00 per person. Music by Gia. Bring your camp chairs.

The Famous Delaware County Fair!

August 14th through August 19th

An ole time country fair. Visit The Famous Delaware County Fair website for a schedule.

Saturday, August 19th

3:00 PM: Kids’ Easter in August candy egg hunt. Last day of the Delaware County Fair.

Saturday, August 26th

3:00 PM: Penny dive. Meet at the pool. 7:30 PM: Wine and Cheese Party in the rec hall. Bring a bottle of wine to share. Campground supplies cheese and crackers.

Labor Day Weekend / Cooks Falls Horton Fire Company

Saturday, September 2nd

Chicken BBQ Fundraiser & Auxiliary Basket Social. Pick up starts at 12:00 until sold out! All pre orders must be picked up by 3:00 PM. Dinners include: 1/2 chicken, salt potatoes, baked beans, dinner roll, cookie and bottled water. $12.00 per dinner. Pre order on facebook. Walk-ins welcome!
2:00 PM: Hayride.
4:00 PM: Family Fishing Derby.

Sunday, September 3rd

8:00 PM: Music by BJ and a campfire. Bring your camp chairs.

Halloween at Russell Brook

Saturday, September 16th

3:00 PM: Kids’ trick or treat. Meet at the camp store for treasure maps.
7:30 PM: Halloween Party in the Rec Hall. Please dress up and bring a snack to share. Prizes for best costumes.

Buck Brook Alpacas

Saturday, September 23rd

National Alpaca Day! Farm tours, refreshments, farm store, weaving and spinning demonstrations, fiber crafts.

Columbus Day Weekend / Annual Russell Brook Apple Festival

Saturday, October 7th

3:00 PM: Come join us as we make homemade apple cider on our antique cider press. Free samples of cider for all. Homemade apple pies and treats for sale.

Haunted Trail & Fall Celebration / Buck Brook Alpacas

Friday, October 27th and Saturday, October 28th

Walk through our haunted woods, refreshments, crafts for younger kids.
